Women's Ministry places its focus on the needs and spiritual well being of the women of the church and community.  Programs and goals are planned to inspire, encourage, give guidance and a helping hand to those in need.  Workshops, retreats, cooking classes, bible study and prayer groups are just a few of the areas on the agenda to enhance Christian growth.

Join us in ministry as we plan in-reach, out-reach and spiritual edification and fellowship for the building up of God's Kingdom.  We have our regular monthly meetings at 10 am on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

HAT DAY  June 10, 2017

Ministry In-Reach
Secret Sisters

Our Secret Sister's Ministry was launched this year and we had a successful first half.  We had a Reveal Luncheon in July and then picked our new Secret Sister for the rest of the year.  We will plan a Holiday Reveal in December.

Each sister is asked to pray for and share words of encouragement through cards, letters or small gifts (if they choose) to uplift and validate her Secret Sister, all the while keeping their identity hidden.

Women's Ministry Book Club

The Book Club meets on the second Saturday of the month at 3pm.  We welcome anyone who loves to read and meet and fellowship with ladies with kindred hearts, to join us.  We try to have an extra book on hand for our visitors.  Recently finished "The Story of Redemption" and just begining in October, "His Robe or Mine". This one also has had great reviews.

Ministry Out-Reach
Homeless Shelter Support

Each Quarter, the Women's Ministry team collect toiletry items that are greatly needed in the various shelters in the area.  We collect soap, wash clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, deoderant, and incontinence products. These items are then packaged neatly in separate kits for easy distribution.

Ministry Out-Reach
Paper Drive

We have initiated a paper drive for a local homeless shelter.  Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, plastic wrap) will be collected and donated before the holidays.

Coastal Hospice Support

WM is supporting with the purchase of new blankets for twin size beds.
