New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church. New Life is a
Bible based, friendly, family oriented body of
believers. We believe that Jesus has gone to
prepare a place for a prepared people and will
return as He has promised. We minister to all in
the hope that you will be equipped with the
emotional, physical and spiritual knowledge to make
this life while we wait, a rewarding one. Presently
Paul A. Bryant and his lovely wife are here with us
as our Spiritual Mentors. We meet every Saturday at
29119 Adventist Drive, Salisbury, Maryland.

Confession
Every year sincere men and women
make long and weary pilgrimages or do painful penance in
order to gain forgiveness for their sins.
What do we have to do to obtain
forgiveness from God for our sins? Does He ask us to
torture ourselves in order to obtain mercy?
Fortunately, God is much kinder to us than we are to
ourselves. Pain and penance are not His methods. The
Bible tell us "If we confess our sins, He is faithful
and just and will forgive our sins and cleanses us from
all unrighteousness."
What is confession? It is asking God to forgive you of
your sins. It's just as simple as that. You ask for
forgiveness and God forgives. Notice the text says He is
faithful. God always keeps His part of the bargain.
